We need to be very keen about how we represent God in the world. We need to add Christ in our life and subtract sin in our life. I know it is difficult because for all did sin, and are come short of the glory of God. That is why I encourage you to have a relationship with God. Let Him be the Lord of all and when I say all, I mean in all areas of your life.
I am also a work in progress. There were days when I forgot to let God rule my life, my decisions and my choices. God know that it will be hard for us that is why He gave us His counsel, the one who will help us - the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also acts as comforter or Paraclete, one who intercedes, or supports or acts as an advocate, particularly in times of trial. And it acts to convince the unredeemed person both of the sinfulness of their actions, and of their moral standing as sinners before God.
We are to “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13 NIV). Developing the character of Christ is life's most important task. God brought you out from the sinful life, do not go back.
Let us pray.
Jesus, you are now my King. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for loving me this much. Thank you that I know now who am I in Christ Jesus. And as a response, I will live a live that will magnify your name. Give me Lord a teachable heart that will always say yes to your command and will always choose the righteousness over other things. Thank you Father God for giving us your counsel - the Holy Spirit that will remind us that You hate sin and we should turn away from it. We are now redeemed and renewed through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross 2,000 years ago. Thank you Lord. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit. May we bring glory to your name, oh Lord. Amen.
